I HAVE BEEN DEALING WITH THE EFFECTS OF A FALL LAST NOVEMBER WHERE I RE-FRACTURED BOTH OF MY KNEECAPS AND BROKE MY NOSE.
IT TOOK A MONTH FOR ME TO WALK AGAIN & HAS LEFT ME WITH VERY BAD PAIN EVERY DAY SINCE.
THEN I WAS WORKING ON FINALLY GETTING MY RIGHT KNEE REPLACEMENT DONE AFTER WAITING 18 YEARS BECAUSE MY HEALTH PROVIDER SAID IT WAS NOT MEDICALLY NECESSARY AND THEN A WEIRD TUBULAR RUBBERY THING APPEARED ON THE TOE NEXT TO MY BIG LEFT TOE. IT EXPLODED AND MY TOE GOT INFECTED SO NPW I HAVE TO GO TO A FOOT DOCTOR NEXT WEEK AND I WILL NOT GET MY KNEE SURGERY UNTIL THE TOE IS HEALED & THE INFECTION IS NO MORE. I WAS 4 DAYS AWAY FROM MY SURGERY WHEN MY SURGEON SAID HE WOULD NOT OPERATE IF I HAVE AN ACTIVE INFECTION. BOTH KATHY & I THINK HE DOES NOT WANT TO DO THE SURGERY AT ALL FOR REASONS I WON'T GO INTO BUT THERE IS NOTHING I CAN DO FOR NOW.

I felt the quake here as a strong jolt that shook my bed.
My friend Jessica in San Diego felt it too and it scared her.
KNX News radio felt it and so did George Noory who was live on the air at the time.
Quake was felt as far north as Hemet and in a wide area.
No aftershocks at this time.

Links to stories about the quake below after this video was posted :
At approximately 1:30 PST 2 strong quakes occurred near Borrego Springs, Ca. The quakes measured 5.1 & 5.2 and earlier in the evening 2 quakes also occurred; a 3.1 & 3.2 with another one near Indio, Ca. which is the desert training center for the US Army where General George S. Patton, Jr. trained his tankers before WWII.
Talk show host George Noory felt it while he was live on the air and told me HE felt it, I called KNX news radio in LA and they said it made their building sway sharply and my friend Jessica in San Diego felt it and she said she was very scared !
Earlier on Thursday 3 strong quakes, one a 6.0 were felt near the capital of Nicaragua as well.
No aftershocks at this time but I was on my sofa bed watching a You Tube video on the switch of Supergirl from CBS to the CW when a strong jolt shook my bed and I said " What was that ? " and immediately looked at my Ipad earthquake app and wrote George asking if he felt it and he said he did & he was still live on the air at the time.
UPDATE :
Fellow players in my Mobile Strike game felt the quake in San Diego and told me on line about it.
Here are links to the stories and videos are in some of the links.
Excerpt from San Diego Union Tribune :
A magnitude 5.2 earthquake erupted near Borrego Springs at 1:05 a.m. on Friday, shaking a wide area of Southern California, including San Diego, the USGS says. The mainshock was followed by a 3.5 aftershock at 1:33 a.m.
The agency says the epicenter of the quake was located 13 miles north of Borrego Springs and 18 miles northeast of Warner Springs -- one of the more sparsely populated areas of Southern California.
It appears that the quake broke on or near the Coyote Creek section of the San Jacinto fault system, which extends through parts of San Bernardino, Riverside, San Diego and Imperial counties. USGS says shaking was reported in such places as Borrego Springs, Escondido, San Diego and San Bernardino. Shaking was felt as far north as Apple Valley.
There were no initial reports of injuries or damage in San Diego County following the earthquake, according to the San Diego County Sheriff's Office and San Diego Police.
The San Jacinto is among the most active faults in Southern California. Tom Rockwell, a San Diego State University seismologist, told the Union-Tribune during a 2011 interview that, "There were magntidue 6.2-6.5 earthquakes in the southern San Jacinto fault in 1890 and 1892, followed by the magnitude 6.5 Christmas Day earthquake of 1899 near Hemet.
"An 6.9 earthquake ruptured south of Hemet almost to Anza in 1918, followed by a 6.0 along the northern San Jacinto fault in 1923 (there is debate as to the precise location of this earthquake). The 6.0 Terwilliger Valley earthquake in 1937 broke the fault southeast from Anza, and a moderately large earthquake (6.5) in 1942 is attributed to the southern San Jacinto but may have been on a poorly studied fault between the Elsinore and San Jacinto faults
"The southern end of the Clark strand of the San Jacinto fault ruptured with a 6.2 in 1954, followed by the 6.5 Borrego Mountain earthquake on the Coyote Creek fault in 1968 (and a large 5.9 aftershock in 1969). Two earthquakes in 1987, the 6.2 Elmore Ranch earthquake followed 11 hours later by rupture of the Superstition Hills strand of there San Jacinto fault with a 6.6 earthquake, are the most recent large San Jacinto fault zone earthquakes."
