I HAVE BEEN DEALING WITH THE EFFECTS OF A FALL LAST NOVEMBER WHERE I RE-FRACTURED BOTH OF MY KNEECAPS AND BROKE MY NOSE.
IT TOOK A MONTH FOR ME TO WALK AGAIN & HAS LEFT ME WITH VERY BAD PAIN EVERY DAY SINCE.
THEN I WAS WORKING ON FINALLY GETTING MY RIGHT KNEE REPLACEMENT DONE AFTER WAITING 18 YEARS BECAUSE MY HEALTH PROVIDER SAID IT WAS NOT MEDICALLY NECESSARY AND THEN A WEIRD TUBULAR RUBBERY THING APPEARED ON THE TOE NEXT TO MY BIG LEFT TOE. IT EXPLODED AND MY TOE GOT INFECTED SO NPW I HAVE TO GO TO A FOOT DOCTOR NEXT WEEK AND I WILL NOT GET MY KNEE SURGERY UNTIL THE TOE IS HEALED & THE INFECTION IS NO MORE. I WAS 4 DAYS AWAY FROM MY SURGERY WHEN MY SURGEON SAID HE WOULD NOT OPERATE IF I HAVE AN ACTIVE INFECTION. BOTH KATHY & I THINK HE DOES NOT WANT TO DO THE SURGERY AT ALL FOR REASONS I WON'T GO INTO BUT THERE IS NOTHING I CAN DO FOR NOW.
IN DECEMBER I STARTED MY 14TH YEAR ON YOUTUBE.!

Road trip. The annual DMV extortion.
Last year was frought with craziness. Somehow we lost our title and the registration. So we get to drive to West Sacramento to have the owner of our Prius sign the paperwork then onto the DMV,. We spent 2 1/2 hoursin there on Monday. Who knows how long it will take. Don''t know when I will be back.

Drove up and back. Went to Wal Mart supercenter & saw stuff we never see here & stocked up.
On the way to fill up tank some idiot with no warning moved diagonally in front of car & almost hit us. People were driving crazy both ways.
Gas prices went up 17 cents a gallon overnight. Long lines for gas. Neighbor says news says gas may go up another 30 cents a gallon because of jerk USW worker strike.
Storm to hit Sacramento by midnight. Got cold and windy here. Was muggy & overcast all day both ways until dark. I drove both ways. Going to bed. BBL.

Slowly I turned ...
So we went to the DMV on Friday only to be told that IF your car is 9 years old or newer you have to go and get the seller to sign a form listing the mileage and that the fee will now be $ 286 + the lost title fee instead of $ 150.
So tomorrow we get the go BACK to West Sacramento & themn wait until the 28th to pay the thing, get our new tags & handicapped plates.
MY question is unless its a new car, WHY does the state CARE how many miles MY ( or anyone's ) car has ?
I hate some of the bsolute incompetents you see at government agencies and making a wasted trip !
Is this kind of bs why people snap and go postal ?
One other thing. The were exhorting us to make an appointment. Went to the DMV to try and it gives you an appointment no earlier than 2 weeks away. So much for the idea of being seen ASAP at the DMV.
