     http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/scotland/south_of_scotland/7725179.stmA fibreglass pig stolen from outside a shop in the Borders has been returned to its owner.The life-size model was taken at the weekend from a newsagents at High Buckholmside in Galashiels.Shop owner Ryan Kirk subsequently received a phone call demanding a £250 ransom payment before it would be returned.A search by locals eventually found the pig and it has now been returned to the newsagent.
