Dad kills Mom in front of kids when he finds prison letter & condoms.

Sexy prison letter, condoms drove Pennsylvania dad to kill mom in front of kids: copsKeith Belajonas, whose two sons, ages 4 and 5, watched as he murdered their mother, exploded after finding a box of condoms and an inmate’s note asking his wife for nude photos, a top police official said Friday.

  • The slain body of Christina Belajonas is carried from a home in Drexel Hill, Pa., on Thrusday.  Police say she was killed by her husband, Keith, in front of their children, Robert, 5, and Christopher, 4. A boy's innocent search through his mom’s purse sparked the jealous rage behind the murder-suicide of his parents. One of Christina Belajonas’ small sons discovered a box of condoms in her bag, with her husband then digging out a local inmate’s salacious letter asking her for nude photos, a top police official said Friday.Hot-blooded husband Keith, with a handful of his wife’s hair, shot her in the head before stabbing her repeatedly as their two sons watched, said Supt. Michael Chitwood of the Upper Darby, Pa., police.“Had an argument. She was cheating on me. I won,” the remorseless Belajonas posted on Facebook after bolting the murder scene with the couple’s sons Robert, 5, and Christopher, 4. Pinterest

  • Keith Belajonas stole a case of beer, cigarettes and cash before heading off on his last ride. The lethal confrontation in the family’s squalid suburban Philadelphia home began when Christina, 28, arrived in the apartment around 1:30 a.m. Thursday. The argument escalated quickly, authorities said.Within an hour, cops found her lifeless body in the blood-spattered, second-floor residence and Keith Belajonas was driving toward Staten Island with the traumatized boys. • Officials remove the body of Keith Belajonas. Belajonas, 32, shot himself in the head on a dead-end street in the borough about five hours after his wife’s slaying. The couple was married for three years, and moved from Staten Island to Drexel Hill, Pa, in 2013.The letter writer was apparently an inmate in a Pennsylvania jail, although he was not identified by authorities.Christina’s grand-aunt defended the slain mom Friday as the victim’s family took custody of the two little boys.“She was doing her best, working two jobs,” said Kathy Corrigan. “She wasn’t perfect, but nobody was.”The orphaned kids were released into the care of their slain mother’s relatives hours after the horrifying deaths and brought to Folcroft, Pa. • Police say Keith Belajonas went into a murderous and suicideal rage after one of his small children found condoms, like these, while he discovered an inmate’s racy letter asking his wife for nude photos. Both boys were out playing with their great-grandfather in a nearby park Friday morning as relatives hoped the siblings could emerge somewhat intact from the terrifying ordeal.“For the most part, the kids are doing good,” said Corrigan, who traveled to Staten Island to retrieve the boys.“They aren’t going to get through this without any scars.“But we’re taking it one day at a time.” John Minchillo/AP

  • Police tape surrounds the van where Keith Belajonas was found dead of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound in Staten Island. Authorities say he killed his wife in Pennsylvania before kidnapping their small children and taking them to Staten Island. The siblings made some disturbing comments on the ride home from New York, but were in pretty good spirits despite what they endured.“They were talking, laughing,” recounted Corrigan. “Honestly, except for an occasional remark, you wouldn’t know anything happened. They are aware of the situation as much as a 4- and a 5-year-old can be.”

Corrigan declined to detail what the specific remarks were, but said the whole family was reeling from the shocking murder and suicide.“It’s one of those things you see all the time, but you don’t ever think it will happen to you,” she said. She added that the family reached a decision not to demonize Keith Belajonas despite his bloody rampage. Forensic workers document the area where cops say Keith Belajonas was found dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Corrigan said she “doesn’t want the boys growing up thinking he was a horrible monster. He was not horrible to them. He was not horrible to her until (Thursday).”A Pennsylvania neighbor told police that one of the boys had asked his fleeing father, “Is Mommy dead?”The three then climbed into Belajonas’ gray Nissan Pathfinder SUV and headed north. An officer tapes off the Pennsylvania scene where cops say Keith Belajonas killed his wife, Christina, in front of their small sons, before kidnapping the little boys to Staten Island. The incident set off a three-state manhunt with the NYPD tracking him down after a 911 call from someone who recognized the SUV from an Amber Alert. The deranged dad had earlier dropped his sons off at a local CVS where his brother worked. Belajonas stole a case of beer, cigarettes and cash before heading off on his last ride.Counseling is likely for the two boys, and the city Administration for Children’s Services was still involved in the case.“The best thing anyone can do for them is pray,” Corrigan said.[/quote888][/quote888]
