We head into the weekend with a major coastal storm developing off the Southeast Coast of the US bringing heavy rains and strong winds for the Coastal Carolinas. Gales will spread northward up the coast this weekend. Strong high pressure builds in New England bringing another shot of cold air into the Northeast. The coastal low will bring some rain and wind up the coast later Sunday into Monday as this coastal storm stalls off the Southeast coast tonight and Saturday. Much of the weather across the rest of the nation this weekend is on the quiet side.
