Weather in 5 A strong arctic front is moving east with Winter Weather Advisories and Winter Storm Warnings posted from the Middle Mississippi Valley, across the Ohio Valley to the Central Appalachians and then northeast through upstate NY & Northern New England. Cold air that follows is a very cold air mass from Canada with temperatures 20 or more degrees below average.
