In some ways, I don't care what they do at the other forum. They have their agenda and they post what they want to do while the owner has his.

But the problems this forum has had aside, I had thought that by now, I'd have 20, 30, 40, 50 members who were interested in posting on the topics I find that are NOT covered by that forum at least.

I KNOW you're looking at the posts left here, not ony by me but by others as well, but   * I * am leaving the bulk of the posts on here ( and I am not referring to just posting You Tube videos of old radio programs ) while no one new is joining.

I also thought it would save people the drudgery of searching all over You Tube and elsewhere for programs or stories and that THIS would be a place where everything would be on one forum to save you the time of having to look for a guest or a topic.

It's not fair to the other people who have joined here who post because they expect people to see what THEY think is interesting to them, nor is it fair to me, no matter what you or anyone may think or feel about ME on a personal basis.

This is a place that I thought would save people from searching all over the place for new and old programs on You Tube. Its also a place where I have tried to post things that I feel MOST people won't have already seen.

Yet despite all this, NONE of you are doing anything but looking at the posts.

Its incredibly discouraging and I would ask you to think about that for a few moments if you can and ignore any other considerations and join THIS forum and contribute to it.

Not because its MY forum but because I think its important to have another slant on things than you will see on other forums or boards.

Yes, I have political opinions that many posters do not. But if you're intelligent you'll realize that that is what America is all about. We can express our opinions and positions without fear of rancor or approbation.

Or at least we should be able to do so if this were a perfect society where every opinion was valued for its being expressed in the first place, as our founding fathers fought for the right to do so.

But join and quit lurking, please !

I am growing weary of asking people nicely.

I'm going to give it some more time, but there's a limit to how much I can do here, while winding up neglecting other things I need to do including personal affairs.

And I AM neglecting those to try to make this the best forum that I can.

But apparently that is NOT good enough somehow.

Could it be that those on the other forum have simply decided that no matter what I do here or on You Tube or the net, they will NEVER join this board and actively contribute here ?

I AM beginning to wonder if that IS the case. In which case there is little point in doing this in the long run because after awhile one gets the feeling that one is talking to the ether with little or no response.

I do a hell of a lot of work on here so YOU can look at posts and do nothing.

Even a deaf, blind or dumb person needs some kind of feedback or expression of caring.

I'm not getting a whole lot of that.

And it is really distressing to see that.

Think about it.
