    I don't know about trusting anything the French say. They have a bad history of re-negging on deals and failing to support their allges. I am always suspicious of them.

    And they are weird. Not the coutryside French, they are usually good people. Its the Parisians who run their government historically that is the problem. Parisians are snobs and are very rude to visitors.
