LA cops just killed a disabled man as that community protests.

Why are cops so prone to shoot and not use non violent means to subdue a suspect ?

Is it a macho cop thing that civilians can never understand ?

And why is there this mentality to be rude to the citizens even when they are peacefully protesting or when one has to deal with a cop ? Many I and my gf have dealt with are very nice. Others however, treat you like you are a criminal whether its in your home or during a traffic stop. Many don't seem to know or have forgotten about basic curtesy and act like all citizens ( whom they claim to serve ) are the enemy ?
