Supreme Court rues Aero streaming service illegal.
It all comes down to money and not allowing people to view content. This is why cable companies are trying to destroy net neutrality, so they can charge whatever they want.

1) User DVR is legal.
2) Cloud based user DVR is legal.
3) User streaming live TV or DVR via a network is legal ( Windows Media Center can do it via an Xbox or phone. ).
4) OTA antennas ae legal.
5) Renting tv equipment is legal.
