Joe Cioffi Weather Show Storm Departs in the East
Winter Storm Warnings and Winter Weather Advisories will be coming down tonight in the Northeast US as a storm departs but they are up in the Northwest as a new storm arrives. Very cold air is moving into the Northeast Wednesday through Friday which will inspire some lake effect snow action on Wednesday.

Weather in 5 Very cold air on the way for tonight and Thursday Northeast & Mid Atlantic States
An arctic front will be moving through late this afternoon with some snow showers and even a few heavier snow squalls possible. Behind the front the coldest air of this very young almost winter season will be upon us for the rest of the week. The weather pattern relaxes with no major weather systems to deal with right through Christmas Day

With the Christmas & Hannukah holidays fast approaching we seem to be headed into a relatively quiet weather pattern over much of the US. Very cold conditions cover the East. A storm will moving across the Gulf of Mexico and impacting the Southeast US & Florida over the weekend. Storminess will also impact the Northwest US
