The lyrics in the song are very reminiscent of the City of Crime rap from Dragnet.
I think they ripped Ackroyd off.
A movie that bombed but is a great social commentary on living in LA & the whole Jack Webb mythos with a wink and a loving nod to Jack Webb.
Its a silly movie but its one of my favorites and Acroyd is great in it.
