Lightning strikes in Martinez & this side of bay.
Perhaps someone up there is upset at PG & E for cutting down all of HIS trees.
This is a spectacular video of when lightning hit the Bay awhile back.
This one happened in the last few days. $ 20k in damage !

Did you catch any of the action George?
Before my Mother died we had a lightning storm here one night where the thunder/lightning overhead was so loud it sounded like artillery fire.
